Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches

So, if you know me (even just a little) you probably know that one of my passions in life is baking. Last night I was getting the baking bug and decided to bake some cookies. I made some chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies. (So good, I love oatmeal!) Then, I decided that I would also make homemade ice cream, and make ice cream sandwiches. They turned out pretty well. Here is the finished product.


Then, a good thing got even better. We had our friends, the Kartchners, over for games and grub. We were eating these and we had the great idea to add some dulce de leche on them. I got this packet of dulce de leche from my sister, Amy, who is on her mission in Chile. She said that this was her favorite stuff. I have had it for a while and did not know what to put it on. Well, problem solved. Thanks Amy!
