A couple of weeks ago we had a get together to say goodbye to our friends, the Martinez family. The Martinez family moved into the PTC ward around the same time that we did. I got to know Angie a little more recently as I would walk with her in the mornings (at 5:30am along with our friend Sandra). Angie is training to do a 3-day cancer walk in October. I helped her with a yard-sale where she was able to raise a good bit for her walk. The Martinez family left for Virginia. Anthony is being deployed to Iraq in December. Angie is expecting and is due in November. It is a crazy time for this family. We are sad to see them go.
These are a few pictures from the farewell party. Anthony is a journalist for the military and has a great camera. He was taking shots of everyone. These are a few that he got of our family. I love the ones of Jake.
