Congrats Troy and Kristin

Kristin and Troy were married last week in the Salt Lake temple. Tonight they had an open house. These guys are such a cute couple and we are so happy for them!

So, Troy had seen my blog and requested chocolate chip and oreo cookies for part of their gift. I barely had time today to do it, but I got around to baking them. This time I grabbed the regular type of oreos and also the mint filled kind. I made the batter and split it and made half regular and half with the mint oreos. I have to say that the mint flavor just took these really good cookies to a whole other level. They were so good. So, if I have inspired you to perhaps make these cookies, I would suggest that you give the mint oreos a try. (Check out "Picky Palate" in my links for the recipe). I also used light butter and mini choc. chips. I hope you like them Troy. We look forward to spending an evening with you guys next week when we go to Maggiano's and go see Les Mis.
