Kate is 15 1/2 months old. It was months ago that she took her first step, and although she has had the skill, Kate has lacked the desire/motivation to walk. She has just opted to crawl instead of trying to walk. Jake walked much earlier than this and we have tried to encourage Kate to walk. We have practiced with her almost every night by having her walk to Stan and me. I hate the crawling phase b/c her hands are on the floor or ground and then she puts them in her mouth. She still likes to crawl a good bit, but she is making some strides in her walking and opting to walk occasionally on her own without encouragement. She is a bit wobbly, but is getting more steady. The video shows a good little walk from the toybox to me. Go Kate!

Yeah! Your kids are darling. Amber showed me the Monkeys Jumping on the Bed video. I've watched it like 3 times. I love how creative you are.

Yeah, Kate! Harrison had what we called "Magic Feather Syndrome"(ala Dumbo not wanting to fly without the magic feather, but he really could). Harrison always had to hold someone's hand. So, he didn't walk until he was about Kate's age, too. They're so cute when the first start walking.
So I don't know if you have any way to see who your visitors are or where they are from, but I lurk sometimes just to catch up on GA news and old friends. So if you see a visitor from IA, it's me! I just had to tell you I love reading about everyone down there and your kids are beautiful!
