Tomorrow I am doing the PTC Classic 5K. My sister, Karen, is coming down and spending the night. She will be doing the PTC Classic 15K. She has been training for the Marine Corp Marathon in DC, which is next weekend. She is winding down her training with this race. So a big shout out to her for all her hard work! Good job Karen!! (Or should I say "OohRah"?)
After this 5K is over, I will be training for my next race. I have had the poll up for a week now on my blog asking people if I should do the Atlanta Half-Marathon on Thanksgiving Day. The majority of you said yes. (4/6...I have such a huge following) Well, I signed up today. I am a bit nervous b/c I don't have much time to train. I ran the Country Music Half-Marathon in April, but I did not keep up with running during the summer. I also had my sidekick, Tricia, to train and run with me, but now she is out at BYU-Idaho. I have failed in my efforts to find someone to run this with me. Karen is running it, but her pace is much faster than mine. I tried to talk my dad into it and after a few weeks of thinking about it, I got a big "NO". Well, I still wanted to do it pretty bad. So with or without anyone by my side, I will be doing this race on Thanksgiving day. Then I can seriously eat whatever I want that day...not that I wouldn't have anyhow. So, if anyone wants to burn a couple thousand calories before their big feast, you are welcome to come run with me. The race costs $45 through the end of the month. (It might also cost you a few aches and pains) I am seriously slow, but I love to race and I plan to take it pretty easy. So, if you are interested let me know. LeAnn Austin said she would do it with me, so if you are reading this LeAnn, then sign yourself up!!

You go girl! Great race today too. If I'm around I'll come "turkey trot" with you:) That's gotta be the coolest name of a run ever!
I forgot to add - anytime you want to run with someone, call me and I'll go with!
I heard you on air for "Seriously So Blessed". It was an interesting show.
You rock, Laura! You're probably going to kill me when I tell you that I may have to back out of the Jingle Bell Trail Run. Hannah just qualified for the State Gymnastics Meet and wouldn't you know that it is that weekend. I don't know if she'll be competing on Saturday or Sunday, though. It is all the way down in Tifton or I would say that I would send her with Harry and do the race anyway. I'm excited for Hannah, but way bummed that I might not be able to do the race with you :c(.
