Our Cruise

Last week we went on a cruise to the eastern Caribbean. The first two days were pretty rocky. This was our thrid cruise and the most rocky by far. We got to Puerto Rico in the evening. We got off the ship and strolled around. We saw a hotel that was hosting the "Bodies" exhibit. We decided to check it out. It was very interesting. Then we wanted to find a good local restaurant. A lady recommended this place call "Raices". We had to wait a while, but it was pretty good food, and a very fun atmosphere. Lots of locals.
The next day was spent in St. Thomas. We got off the boat and asked for a good beach. The lady told us to go to Coki beach. We grabbed a taxi and were not disappointed. This has probably been my favorite beach EVER. It was soooo beautiful. The beach was shady from the trees behind us. The beach had great sand and there was great snorkeling. They had charis and equiment to rent for a very reasonable price. This was our favorite thing during the whole cruise. The last port was St. Maarten. We rented a small jeep and drove around the island. Later we went to the downtown shopping area and walked around. We found a great restaurant right off the beach. It was so pretty. Afterwards, we walked back to the ship. We still had 2 days left at sea. The next day was the worst. The ship was moving more than ever. We spent almost the whole day in our cabin. Friday was better, but I was ready to get home. I missed my kids and had a ton to do to get ready for Christmas. We are glad to be home and are finally ready for Christmas. It has been a hectic couple of days getting ready. It was a fun week
