Pigeon Forge

Stan and I had a GREAT weekend away together! I did a kid swap with my sister, Karen, so she took our two kiddos for the weekend. Stan and I booked a great 1 bedroom cabin up in Pigeon Forge. This has been our favorite cabin, with its own private swimming pool inside the cabin!

We had a great time exploring Gatlinburg and shopping. We also went to the Dixie Stampede dinner and show. It was fun, but I'm not so sure we'd do it again. They do some pretty cool tricks on horses though.

We went up to Pigeon Forge for the first time this past Easter. We did great things such as the dinosaur museum and a dinosaur boat ride. Obviously, our time was spent trying to keep the kids entertained. It was fun to go back and see all the things that we were interested in. It was a very relaxing weekend and our last little get-away before this little girl gets here. I have packed everything into this month. Now, I actually need to focus on getting things ready for baby #3.

Here are a few pics of our cute cabin. It was a perfect cabin with a beautiful view and close to everything. I might have to go back one day. And to think I actually thought (for about 5 seconds) about going camping this weekend. I think we made the right choice.

I agree - the Dixie Stampede was fun - but just once!

Holy cow. You weren't kidding about the swimming pool being inside the cabin. I've never seen such a thing. Up town in the back woods! I so wanted to go to Pigeon Forge when we lived in GA, but Matt was never that interested. Glad you were able to go back as a couple and see the things you missed first time around.

That looks like so much fun. Our kids would have a blast. I would too!

I am sorry I missed your shower. It looked like fun. It would have been nice for you if more family was there for you. I am happy for you, Laura. Three children. Keep up the good work!

Love ya,
Kendra
