First, last Friday was girl's night out. We went to Carrabba's and had a fabulous dinner. We decided that for dessert we would drive to Fayetteville to the City Cafe. They have awesome desserts for a great price. Whenever we go, I usually buy an array of desserts to bring back and share. We then snack on them for a few days. Here is the picture of us and all our dessert selections.
So, school has started for all of the kids in Fayette county...except mine. I still stay at home with all 3 of my kids..well, for another 2 weeks. Jake and Kate will be going to a little preschool 2 days a week starting later this month. One of the joys of school starting is that Jake gets to see the school bus. Here is Jake waiting for the bus to come. He saw all the moms lined up and knew that it must be coming soon. One day I'll be able to put him on this magical vehicle.
And what do you get when you combine Kate with any writing instrument?
Instant mural! She draws on everything...walls, floors, furniture, etc. She begs to draw and I try to keep an eye on her, but the second I turn my head she is in destruction mode. Thank heaven for Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
And last, but not least, Stan turned 33 yesterday. We went out to dinner at the Gerogia Shrimp Company and then came back for cake and ice cream with the family. Happy birthday Stan!
