We ripped out the carpet in the play room and laid the floor in there. It was not too difficult of a process. Then we got to the foyer... The foyer was a hardwood floor that was glued to the wood sub-floor. This was a BEAST of a project to rip up the old floor. It took ALL day Saturday and all day today to get the wood stripped up. Hopefully, we will be able to lay the new floor in there tomorrow. Here are some pics of our progress so far. Please forgive the mess in the playroom. Look past the mess to see the flooring we are putting down. I will post better pictures soon of some finished rooms.

Flooring Update
Remember that post about my floor being torn up by the vacuum cleaner? Well, we are in the process of replacing all the floors on our main level.

URG! What are you putting down in it's place?
Wow--that was a quick project! What type of wood is it? I'll have to come over and see.
