Who's #1?

I don't think that I am really a jealous type person. I am pretty content and don't ask for much, especially from my 4 year old little boy. He is a pretty great kid. He gives the best hugs and kisses and he is pretty dang cute. Being his mom and all that I do for him, I would hope to be pretty high on his list of favorite people (which I am), but I fall short of the top spot. Who do you think might hold this esteemed position? Stan? - Nope, think again. Kate? - Hardly. Brooke? - She's pretty up there, but again, it's not her either. Jake's favorite person is..........

DREW! That's right, Drew Pistorius.

The Pistorius family lived here in Peachtree City for a year, and they moved away about a year ago. And all this time later, if I ask Jake, "Who do you love?", the first thing out of his mouth every time is, "Drew!". Sometimes I am lucky enough to get a second mention with an.."Oh, and you too mommy." - Jake and Drew were best buds and loved playing together, which worked well for us, since we loved hanging out with Kinsey and David. I am amazed that over a year later Jake still remembers Drew so well. He always talks about Drew's trains and playing with him. Jake has yet to find anyone that he really connects with like Drew. We are keeping our fingers crossed that maybe one day we will get them back here in GA, but for now we will have to be happy with occasional visits. - Maybe one day I will be able to move up to that top spot, but I don't see it happening any time soon. :)
