The Best Game

Jake had a cold last week and missed a couple of his games, and then they didn't have a game this past Saturday, so it has been a while since he has played. I was worried that he was going to go back to his old ways of sitting down and refusing to play. The best games that he had played to date involved me bribing him with treats between innings. Jake ended up being excited to go play. He scored two runs and did such a great job. The coach even game him the game ball at the end of the game. Jake was so giggly and happy about it. Hopefully, the rest of his games will go this smoothly. Also, Winnie took Brooke during the game so that I wouldn't have all 3 by myself, since Stan had to leave early to go to a meeting. It was so nice to sit an enjoy watching his game. This game gave a glimmer of hope that he may want to play more than one season of baseball. We'll see....
