Jake's First Field Trip

Last week Jake was supposed to have his field trip to a pumpkin patch, but it was rescheduled due to rain. So, yesterday was our day to finally go. It was so cold, but we had a lot of fun. It was interesting to see how Jake interacts with his friends, and I was surprised by how independent he was. It was fun for me to watch him at a distance since he really didn't care too much that I was there. He was so excited to do everything and was at the front of the pack the whole time. Jake has two good friends in his class, Nadia and Carson (a little girl who really likes Jake). Carson told me how she loves Jake and how he is her best friend. She is super cute and is one of a set of quadruplets. On the bus she would sit and stare at Jake and try to hold his hand. She would always find her way to be at his side, as you'll see in some of these pictures. Jake was so excited to ride the bus and had a ton of fun going to the farm. The activities there included a hay ride, a corn maze, a bird show, a nature walk, a demonstration on pottery, a demonstration on sheering a sheep and turning the hair into yarn. Lots of fall fun!

Go Jake. But don't commit too early, man. Theres a lot of fish in the sea. Or...goldfish in the pond, for you.

how cute! Drew mentioned Jake the other day - "the one that lives in Georgia" and told me how his name rhymes with Drake's. Pretty funny! I'm thinking one day they'll be roomies at BYU or something! :)
