When the Planets Align...I get Bagels!

You guys might hear a bit about this pregnancy, bc it has not been easy. The cravings are ridiculous. And, as I mentioned in my pregnancy post, if I don't get what my body wants, then it throws a fit. This fit usually involves me curled up on the couch trying not to puke. This morning I needed, more than anything, an Einstein Brothers asiago cheese bagel with cream cheese. I live in Peachtree City and the closest EB's Bagels was about an hour away. I ate granola. My body hated me. I layed on the couch for an hour. I got up and still had the craving. I felt like complete trash, but sometimes cravings make you do things even when you feel like you can barely function. I packed up 3 kids and golf carted all of us to Fresh Market in hopes that in all of their beautiful bakery goods, that they would have an asiago bagel, or some kind of cheese bagel. Nope. Nothing of the kind...ever. "It sounds good.", says the lady behind the counter. indeed. It sounds sublime. It is sublime! It is nowhere in my grasps. I load the kids back on the cart after they suck me into buying overpriced chocolate chip cookies that are...well, nothing close to what I make. Just sayin'. I take them to the park. I'm already out so I might as well let them run around.

When I get home, I call my mom. I know she is going to the temple tomorrow and maybe she can pick some up for me then. She answers. "Mom will you get me some bagels tomorrow." Mom: "Well, I am up here right now, you want me to bring you some?" She had to go up to Atlanta for a CPR certification class. It had gotten out early. She had already run her errands and an EB Bagels was about a mile away!! I want to almost cry. How absolutely serendipitous! She brought me 6. I have downed more than 1 already. She might have to buy me more tomorrow. My body is now leaping for joy. I feel soooo much better! I have energy, my nausea is gone, I got exactly what I needed! Thank you mom for being my lifesaver today! All is right in the universe...well, until dinner at least.

All this bagel talk reminds me of a certain episode of Community.

Panera Bread has some really good asiago bagels if the craving hits again and can't have any Einsteins!
