When we first made our plans for Nashville, we were going to stay only one night. Later we deicded we would spend a second night and just split the hotel room with my sister, Karen. When we got to Nashville, we found that both of our hotels left a little to be desired (they were both pretty creepy). After our first night, Stan and I decided that we would book our own room in a different hotel and went to Priceline.com. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get a 3 star hotel for $60. We checked out the hotel online and suddenly Karen was asking if she could leave her roach motel and stay with us. We all packed up and headed for better living conditions. When we arrived, we were elated to see what a nice place it was, but then things started to get a little weird, and we suddenly realized why we got the great rate that we did.
Watch the video below.
There was something called an anime convention going on at our hotel. There were thousands of these people all over the place. They were coming out of the woodwork. Despite their very weird appearance, they were a very welcoming and more than happy to pose for us "in character". If youwould like to join this bunch just visit http://www.mtac.net/. Not really my thing, but very entertaining nonetheless.

I'm quite relieved! I watched the video post first, following my Google Reader links and I kept thinking to myself "Wth? What kind of marathon did they run in?" and after a little while "What kind of cruise do they want us to go on???"
Very interesting hotel experience. Yikes!
We stayed at a hotel in Savannah one time. The first night was a bagpipe convention...the next day was a Star Trek convention. I feel your confusion :c)
