It is almost Fall, which means I am in the baking mood. The other day at lunch my friend Kasey (check "The Doty Family" link") told me about this blog called "Picky Palate." (check "my favorite sites") She specifically mentioned these chocolate chip oreo cookies. It sounded good, so I checked out the site and found the recipe. Last night while Stan was mowing the lawn, I took the kids on a golf cart ride to the store to get the ingredients. I baked them today with Jake (who sits on the counter and eats chocolate chips while he watches me bake). Thanks for the tip Kasey. I am excited to check out the other recipes on this blog.
