Thank You IKEA!

I have been on an organizing crusade lately. As I posted earlier, I got my pantry organized, but there are parts of my house that are still bugging me...like the rest of it. One issue I had was the mail that would get tossed on my kitchen countertop. I got this cute chalkboard with a little cubbie underneath for all that mail and it makes for a great message board. A pretty good deal for $15.

I also have wanted some clear glass canisters for my flour, sugar, brown sugar, choc. chips, and salt. IKEA had these for a great deal.


Lastly, I have wanted to get Jake's artwork off my fridge and find a place to dislay it. IKEA has these metal strips with magnets for $.99 each. So for $2 I solved this problem. I have not hung them yet, but they will go next to the kids play area downstairs.

Also, one other find was at wal-mart's $1 area. I got a menu to post on my fridge so that I can plan our meals out better. It is cute and comes with the marker. Great deal for a buck! (sorry no pic)
