Tuesday

Tuesdays are our busy day around here. Stan is still in school and has class every Tuedsay, so we try to stay busy. Every Tuesday, after I pick up Jake from school, we head over to Jumping Jellybeans. We usually meet Kinsey and Drew over there, but our weekly tradition has grown to include more friends. Yesterday, we had lots of friends meet us. We had a ton of fun, esp. Jake.
Jake loves the slides. My biggest job is chasing Kate around and trying to keep her from the water fountain. Gag. And she already has a cold.
The moms. Jenise was also there with her two cuties as was Kelly Kartchner's mom with Ryan. Lots of friends to play with.
Yesterday, while Jake was at school, I swung by Wal-Mart to grab a few things and ran into my good friend, Wendy. Kate was getting squirmy while we were chatting so I let her walk around a little bit. Well, she kept getting into the apples and putting teeth mark on them. I ended up buying a bag full of granny smith apples. Later that night, my friend Jenn came over with her kids. They come over almost every Tuesday and we all hang out since our hubbies are gone and so the kids can play. Well, I suggested we use the apples that I had to buy and make an apple pie. (In the past I have taken pictures of each step on my cooking or baking. I have found that it makes it much less enjoyable. This would have made for good pics, as there are lots of fun steps. However, now I am just sharing pictures of the finished product.) This is the apple pie we made last night. Jenn seemed super excited to try this on her own now. I have made many pies over the years. This one turned out pretty well. Thanks for hanging with me Jenn.
Kat even came over last night with one of her young women to play SingStar for their mutual activity. Fun Day!
