This weekend was Tricia's wedding. She is now Patricia Johnston. Aden and Tricia are both the youngest of ten children. All of Aden's family were able to come out for the wedding. It was fun to meet them. They are such a nice family. They got here really late Thursday night, went sightseeing Friday, and that evening everyone met at my house for dinner. With some of my siblings not in attendance, we still had well over 40 people here. We had fun eating pizza and getting to know each other. Here are a few pics.
Then Saturday morning was the wedding. We made it by the skin of our teeth. After we dropped off the kids and were driving up the interstate from Newnan, we got a call that Aden's sister-in-law (Lisa) left her temple recommend in our house and locked the door. We have a key hidden outside on one of porch columns. Well, I did not know that there was a hole in the column and when they were getting it, it fell into the column. We had to drive back home to let them in. This added about a half hour to our travel time. Just as we walked into the marriage waiting room they were escorting everyone back to the sealing room. So, we made it...barely. Poor Lisa, was a bit stressed. The sealing was very nice and was performed by Brother Kratchen from our ward. Here are some shots outside the temple.
I don't have any pictures of the reception. It was a lot of fun. The highlight was when my family pulled a little prank. When it was time for Aden and Tricia's dance, they got Dana to put on Kristen's wedding dress. She came out instead of Tricia (who was in on it). Aden noticed the difference, but my dad was completely fooled. We were laughing so hard. It was a great day. Congrats Tricia!

Laura. I hope you know how blessed you are to come from such a large, wonderful family. What great photos! You'll have to paste of photo of Amy into your sibling one--now that's a little sad.
That prank is hilarious! And what about Kendra and Winnie loading the bride and groom's cake pieces with salt!!?!? And they didn't even react to it. Made me laugh.

What are the chances of the youngest of ten marrying the youngest of ten? You have a beautiful family, and a fun one, too. I always enjoy reading your family stories.
