The Sweet Taste of Victory
Kelly Kartchner was this year's winner in my 2nd annual March Madness Competition. The prize for this competition is a homemade dessert of the winner's choice. Kelly knew what he wanted even before he was declared the official winner. His dessert of choice was a Mississippi Mud Pie. In my search for a good recipe, it was quickly apparent that many people have varying ideas of what exactly a Mississippi mud pie is. What I ended up making consisted of a layer of brownie, topped with a layer of melted marshmallow, then a layer of homemade fudge, topped with pecans. Bon Apetit!

Couldn't have happened to a better guy.
He should be the new Delta poster boy. I love the last show of him and Jaime--I'll bet you forced that. Dessert looks good--I should have chosen something complicated like that too! What was I thinking?!?!
By the way, that last post was from Wendy--I guess I'm logged in under Justin's account.
It tasted as good as it looked. What's not to love. Brownie, marshmellow, fudge, and pecans. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a layer of whip cream.
It was fun having her make something that she didn't know how to do. But she is amazing and did a really good job.
mmmmmmm.... that looks yummy!!!
