I'm a pretty honest gal and I keep it pretty real. So here's a little truth for ya. It's been one of those days. Most of the time 3 kids is not that bad, but when all 3 are falling apart at the seams it creates what I like to call "the perfect storm." It is in these moments when I have to brace myself and dig as deep as I can for that extra bit of patience and pray that I can find it. These "perfect storms" don't happen too often, but today the kids decided to make up for any loss of these they felt there may have been. Today I have been bombarded repeatedly by an array breakdowns and needs demanded to be met.
It was after so many of these today, that I figured I would get the camera out. Here Kate started crying after I finally refused to give her a third baby wipe. She just likes to play with them. Usually she is happy with one, but today she decided that she preferred to waste several of them and was not fond of the idea of me putting a limit on this activity. Although this incident started off with her being upset over wipes, I think this poor girl is just tired. (Probably from waking up at 5 in the morning.) The novel thing that happened here is that b/c I had a camera on her, she calmed down very quickly. After I turned off the camera, she instantly wanted to watch the clip of her on the camera, which she loves to do. This made her downright happy. So she went from screaming to happy in about 60 seconds. I might need to keep my camera handy in the future. This might be a solution for some future tantrums.

It reminds me of the clip of Fox throwing a fit, but at least she calmed down after that. I tend to start filming the tantrums when they won't stop. It makes for good memories and destracts me from getting too upset with them.
This is just downright funny. Thanks for the laugh
