Mommy Moment #4 (Trifecta)

Today Stan and I had to go up to the church for a meeting so my dad watched the kids for us for a little while. When I got home, Jake had peed on the couch. He is completely potty trained! I don't know why he did this, but nonetheless it happened. I cleaned up the spot, talked to him, and tried not to make a big deal of it. Then a little while later I was in the middle of changing Brooke's diaper when Kate, who was sitting at the kitchen table, informed me that she had just peed. Sure enough there was a puddle on the chair and floor. Lovely... But even better is that since I was in the middle of changing Brooke's diaper, I looked down and she had, in that short exchange with Kate, left a little puddle on the floor for me as well. All 3...in one day. This might be the perfect definition of frustration.

And in other news. Stan and I had to go back to the church because he was called into the Shenandoah branch presidency. He is the 2nd counselor. They just called us today. I thought they were talking to us to hopefully tell us that Stan was finally getting released as the Elder's quorum president. When they told us the news I cried. I have never cried over a calling before, but I was so overwhelmed. Still am. Guess I'll be learning Spanish.

Adios!

oh my gosh! wow. I don't blame you for feeling overwhelmed. Big change indeed. Maybe you guys should move every year like we do and you won't get these big callings. :)

Wow! That sounds fun-(cleaning up the pee-not the calling) j/k. I am sure that Stan will be great at it and you can adapt to anything so you'll both be great!
