Saturday Night
Today was kind of a crazy day. I woke up and ran 8 miles with my sis, Trish. I came home, showered, and went to clean the church for our yearly assignment. I then came home and worked on my relief sociey lesson (which is going to be pretty crappy). After that, I went to the store to pick up some groceries. Then at around 7:45 or so, I finally asked Stan what he wanted to do tonight. He didn't have any great ideas, or any ideas for that matter. I suggested that since it was a nice evening that we should grab some food and eat outside. So we grabbed a bucket of chicken (Stan was very happy with that part, I am feeling sick from it at the moment) and went to the park. Well, we ended up losing daylight pretty quickly and had our picnic in the dark. There are some weird sounding animals at night. So, here are some pictures from our picnic.
This is just a funny shot of Jake giving Kate a kiss.
As we were leaving we found some ducks. We had brought some bread, so we whipped it out. The ducks were having a hard time finding the bread in the dark.
The kiddos chilling on the picnic blanket.
Us.
We came home and threw the kids in the tub. This is the first time I have taken pics of their communal baths. They just make me smile.

What a fun picnic. Our kids wish we would let them stay up until it got dark. They would of been all over that picnic.
I love the tub pictures of your kids. They really couldn't be any cuter!
It was fun to see you yesterday. Good luck next weekend. Although I'm sure you won't need it.
How was the race? Good? Hard? If you have the time, I'd love to learn how you went from running a 5K to running a 10K. I asked Elliott yesterday if he'll run a 10K with me, and he said that he will, so I need to learn to increase my distance. Any help you can give me will be appreciated! I really want to be able to do this, and YOU are my inspiration!
Good luck on your run! I just wish I could keep up with my kids ;) You're awesome!
Looks like you had fun. Speaking of feeling ill from eating fried chicken...this is the week to watch what you eat. You don't want to feel puky for your big race. I'm SOOOO excited for you. If I could, I would drive up there just to cheer you on. By the way, Harry signed up to run the Disney Half-Marathon in January. Good Luck!

Oops. You haven't raced yet. Well... good luck! I'd still love to hear how you've gone about training.
Laura, Thank you for posting some running info on my blog for me. I appreciate it, and will look into the books you mentioned. Gracias!
That kiss is totally inappropriate. I won't even mention the nudity..........
