This past Sunday was my mom's 60th birthday. Saturday, we surprised her when she showed up for dinner and we were all there with our own private room to celebrate her birthday. She was very surprised and impressed that we pulled one over on her. The restaurant was a place up in Atlanta called, "The Blue Ridge Grill." It is a very nice restaurant and the food was great. Half-way through the meal, my sister Kristen found a cricket in her salad! They hurried and brought her another salad along with news that they were not going to charge us for any of our entrees. (About $300 worth of food!) As you can see from the pictures we had a great night spending time together without all the grandkids.
After dinner we went to my sister's house to watch a video that I had made for the occasion. I have spent the past month+ working on this video for my mom. It is comprised of 3 segments and is about 45 minutes long. I uploaded the first segment to YouTube to show my sister and get her feedback. I figured I would post it on here. This is my mom from about age 6 up through her wedding and a little after. This is only a little part of the complete video. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh - that was fun to watch. I especially loved your mom's cute outfits, her pretty red hair and how I could see so much of you Plauche girls in her. What a great family!

Amazing video. Oh my gosh though, I never realized how much you look like your mom, and I swear that Amy is her twin sister-crazy. Promise me that when I come to travel nurse and live with you that you will teach me how to do this-k!
