I read about this pan on the "Picky Palate" blog. It is a mini-cheesecake pan from Williams-Sonoma. On the blog she made these really cute cheesecakes and talked about how this $30 pan was worth every penny. Boy, was she right! Tonight, Stan and I went by Willams-Sonoma and picked one up.

I could not wait to give this thing a whirl. I went and picked up a few ingredients and went to work. This is the funnest little pan ever and makes perfect little cheesecakes. The pan looks a lot like a muffin pan, but with holes in the bottom. There are little plates to put in each of these. Once the cheesecakes are done and cooled, you simply push up through the bottom and then remove the little metal plate.

I love that I can easily make a variety of different cheescakes. I made 4 dulce-de-leche, and the rest were traditional cheesecakes. However, I did make one into a creme brulee cheesecake by sprinkling sugar and using my kitchen torch. It made a nice little layer of crystalized sugar on top. These were pretty easy and oh so good!

P.S. Anyone who still has a chance of winning the bracket tournament that I am hosting, I would highly recommend these as your choice. They are divine.

I'll be over in the morning for one. seriously.
P.S. Too bad I don't like cheesecake, but the pan does look cool. I'm requesting your mini chocolate chip cookies. You made them at the Page's get together eons ago when I first moved in the ward. Get to work.
You have a serious obsession. If I come down to PTC, will you bake healthy version of something yummy for me? I need a healthy but really delcious treat.
